When it rains, it pours...
I think you are always prepared and aware of the things that could threaten your small business, but this time I found that even though I had made a mental note of what the threats would be, I wasn't actually prepared.
In the beginning of February the apartment got broken into.
Besides the panicked thoughts of wondering if my dogs were o.k, I suddenly realized my camera and other equipment probably wasn't going to be... my heart sunk because as it turned out, I was right.
Towards the end of February, as I was slowly trying to at least get back to my starting point, I was in an accident. Thankfully, no one was hurt but now my mode of transport is gone.
There are now many factors inhibiting me from moving forward right now and I guess 2020 has just been a tough year so far, WTF!!!
Though I read a quote that said " At some point, the pain of not doing it becomes greater than the pain of doing it." So, I am starting again, because I don't want to give this up. It's a setback... well a few setbacks, it's been painful, but I am hopeful. It's going to take time to get me close to starting point again and to get content out there for my website and page but I won't give up on this art form and I hope that when I am back on my feet, I'll be able to take some great photographs and make some great new memories that will leave me thinking WTF, but in a good way.
