Why I became a freelance photographer
Updated: Dec 30, 2019
I have always been someone yearning to create, I draw and paint a lot but it has always remained a hobby. I eventually decided I'd like a bit more of a creative career, so I picked up a camera again, after leaving this art form behind from school days. It reminded me of the personal impact a beautiful photograph can have on someone. How confident someone can feel from seeing themselves through someone else's lens, and I realized that this is the art that I want to create from now on and its been my focus ever since.
I have always known that I need to be in the creative industry, and was honestly a bit afraid to embark on this journey. I was concerned about what people may think; if I could even do this and on top of it, I really didn't quite know how... but I decided I would stop wasting time on the technicalities and just start! I have been working it out as I go, setting objectives and getting to express my creativity and I am in love with photography! Having the support from my family and friends has also really made this all possible.
Though, I still have a lot to learn, I know that I am definitely always willing to absorb more information and improve, and I am excited to be on this journey, and really hope you will be part of it.
